No, As much a we would want every house to have adequate lighting, we can't be responsible for residential electrical work.
3. Is a 100 watt LED bulb necessary?
No, the 100 watt led bulb was selected because of the amount of area it covers with a single bulb.
4. What is the goal of the Lights For Safety Campaign?
The goal of the Lights For Safety Campaign is to simple add a level cohesiveness and safety in our neighborhood.
5. Where can I purchase a 100 watt LED bulb?
You can purchase the bulbs at any hardware or home improvement store.
6. Do they make 100 watt LED flood lights?
Yes, they do make 100 watt flood lights.
7. Is this 100 watt LED bulb going to be cost effective for me?
Yes. for under $4.00 a bulb it will last approximately 4 year depending on the usage rate.
8. Should I discuss this campaign with my neighbors?
Yes, our goal is to increase residential lighting in our neighborhood house by house, then block by block.
9. Should I add bulbs to the back of my home also?
Yes, we feel the more lighting we have the safer our neighborhood can become.
10. Ok, I have added adequate lighting to my home, but the street lights are not working. what should I do.
If there is a street light issue in your area you can call the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works at (414) 286-CITY (2489) if you have any of the following street light concerns:

Street lights that are not functioning (burned out light bulb, circuit problems).

Alley lights that are not functioning (burned out light bulb, circuit problems).

Tree branches that need trimming, including those that block signs or street or traffic lights.

Street light poles or fixtures that are damaged.
